Public Service Commission (PSC) Secretary/CEO Mr. Paul Famba has been invited to deliver a keynote address at the inaugural Public Service Superannuation Fund (PSSF) Pan-African Pensions Conference, scheduled for 26–28 November 2025 at Diamonds Leisure Beach & Golf Resort, Diani.
The invitation was extended during a courtesy call to the PSC by PSSF Chairman Ambassador Hussein Dado and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Jonah Aiyabei at the Commission House on 15th August 2025. The conference will convene policymakers, fund managers, employers, and regulators from across Africa to share experiences and strategies for strengthening pension systems.
The Commission secretary will speak on the role of employers in enhancing pension systems, a topic PSSF describes as central to securing sustainable retirements across the continent.
“As Africa accelerates towards sustainable pension solutions, the role of employers cannot be overstated, we are pleased to invite Mr. Famba to share his insights and help shape a forward-looking agenda for public‐sector pensions,” said Amb. Dado.
Accepting the invitation, PSC CEO underscored the importance of partnerships between employers and pension schemes.
“I am honoured to participate in this important forum and look forward to discussing how employers both in the public and private sectors can drive better pension outcomes for workers across Africa,” said Mr. Famba
The three-day event will focus on innovation, regulatory harmonization, and adoption of best practices in pension administration, with the goal of strengthening retirement security for all.
