Anthony Muchiri held a consultative meeting with a delegation from the State Corporations Advisory Committee (SCAC) at Commission House on July 31, 2025. The meeting sought to cement a stronger working relationship aimed at enhancing service delivery and fostering efficient governance across State Corporations. It also provided an opportunity for the SCAC <a><\/a>delegation to engage with the newly appointed PSC Commissioners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Discussions focused on critical areas of collaboration including governance frameworks, HR management, and capacity building for State Corporations. Both parties underscored the need to align institutional mandates and leverage synergies to accelerate public sector reforms while upholding the values and principles of public service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are better working together\u2014consulting and collaborating\u2014for improved service delivery. Governance reforms and the promotion of national values cannot be achieved in isolation. Government functions are interconnected and require coordinated efforts for effective execution,\u201d said Amb. Muchiri<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A key highlight of the meeting was the commitment to integrate digital transformation and data-driven decision-making into joint initiatives. The two institutions agreed to develop frameworks for digitizing HR and governance processes within State Corporations, enabling real-time data sharing and monitoring to improve transparency, accountability, and efficiency in service delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SCAC Chairperson Phillip Mongony lauded the collaboration, noting that a unified approach will streamline operations in the parastatal sector and ensure alignment with Kenya\u2019s national development agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting concluded with a pledge to hold regular engagements, implement joint capacity-building programs, and adopt modern governance tools to foster a responsive, citizen-focused public service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also present were SCAC CEO Simon Indimuli, committee members, and technical staff.
